Support the department - Ways of donating
Donating online
Oxford University has a secure payment page where you may give your gift to the Department for Continuing Education. You can make a regular gift by credit card or by direct debit. A single gift may also be made by credit card. Please visit the Oxford Thinking web page.
Donations by post or in person
Donations may be made by cash, cheque, card, standing order or direct debit. Forms vary according to on your country of residence, and can be downloaded from this page:
www.campaign.ox.ac.uk/contribute/ways_to_give/give_by_post.html
Please tick the box indicating that you wish to support a Faculty or Department, and write "Continuing Education" on the line next to this option. Note: Residents of North America are able to deduct or claim tax-credits for donations made to Oxford University; information for your country of residence will be found on the relevant form.
Gift Aid: If you are a UK resident, don't forget to maximise your gift by opting for Gift Aid. Gift Aid increases the value of donations to charities by allowing them to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this can make your contribution go a little way further. You can read more about how Gift Aid works, and access the GIft Aid declaration form, here:

Payroll giving
UK taxpayers who are paid under PAYE (Pay As You Earn) can maximise regular donations to the University through the Payroll Giving scheme. Gifts made through Payroll Giving are taken directly from the gross pay, giving the benefactor immediate tax relief at the highest rate of tax for which they qualify.
For instance, a monthly contribution of £100 from a higher rate taxpayer through Payroll Giving would go straight to the University (minus a small administration fee payable to a payroll giving agency) and would only cost the benefactor £60.
Individuals who are UK taxpayers and interested in this method of giving need to request an application form from their employer, detailing their wishes to donate to the University of Oxford Development Trust Fund. The employer will then deduct a gift directly from the salary before tax is applied.
To give on PAYE please visit the Payroll Giving website at www.payrollgiving.co.uk.
