  • Drug Development, Pharmacokinetics and Imaging
    This five-day short course from the Experimental Therapeutics Programme is taught through face-to-face tutorials. It discusses the basic principles of designing and identifying new drug molecules and monitoring their effect.
  • Systematic Reviews
    This module will take the participants through the process of doing a systematic review, emphasising how and why this qualifies as scientific research. It will focus on the practicalities rather than the theory.
  • Introduction to Study Design & Research Methods
    This module will introduce some of the more advanced concepts and skills of research design and how they relate to Evidence-Based Health Care.
  • Experimental therapeutics
    An opportunity to harness Oxford’s advances in modern molecular medicine and translate them into therapeutic benefits for patients.
  • Practice of Evidence-Based Health Care
    This module will introduce the basic concepts and skills of Evidence-Based Health Care. Teaching will be led by Dr Carl Heneghan and Dr Annette Plüddemann.
