Georg Mayer joined Huawei as a consultant in 2009. Before that he has worked...more for Nokia Terminal Software and within Siemens Private and Mobile Telecommunication Networks divisions on ISDN, SIP and IMS related architecture, protocol standardisation and testing.

Since 2000 he has been attending the 3GPP IMS CN1 (stage 3) standardisation group, in which SIP and other IETF-based protocols are adopted for the usage within the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). Since 2003 he has also been responsible for SIP and IMS interoperability testing with other vendors.

He is co-author of the book "The IMS. IP Multimedia Concepts and Services in the Mobile Domain".

Certification

Participants who satisfy the course requirements will receive a Certificate of Attendance. The pdf sample above is an illustration only, and the wording will reflect the course and dates attended.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at the Rewley House Residential Centre, within the Department for Continuing Education, in central Oxford. The comfortable, en-suite, study-bedrooms are rated 3-star, and come with free high-speed internet access and TV. Guests can take advantage of the excellent dining facilities and common room bar, where they may relax and network with others on the programme.

Payment

Fees include course materials, tuition, refreshments and lunches. The price does not include accommodation.
