    Using Wren’s achievements as a touchstone, and concentrating on his architectural legacy, this illustrated course will explore developments in architecture, science and society between c.1620 and c.1720.

    This course explores how the expansion of British commerce in the eighteenth century re-defined Britain's place in the world and became a fundamental force which shaped British national identity.
