  • Photographing Archaeological Objects for Record and Publication
    This practical photography course aims to provide you with the basic skills to photograph a range of archaeological small finds, to produce a clear and accurate record.
  • The Romano-British Countryside and its Villas
    Country life lay at the heart of Roman Britain.The life-styles of Britons often hardly changed under Rome, but many homes of Romanized styles were built. We shall examine these villas, their farms and industries, and other aspects of the countryside
  • Exploring Neolithic Britain from Shetland to the Scillies
    We shall look at houses and settlements; communal monuments and tombs; flint mines and farming; tools and the first pots. The emphasis will be on visible remains and new work.
  • Social Anthropology: an introduction (Online)
    Social anthropology is the study of how man gives meaning to the world through different social norms, values, practices and means of organisation. This course provides an exciting and dynamic introduction to the world of social anthropology.
