  This course will re-asses the importance of William the Conqueror to English and European history. Was he a lucky opportunist or a ‘true Agamemnon, king of men’. The impact of all aspects of the Norman Conqueror will be examined.
• Archaeology of the British Isles
  This course will explore 12,000 years of human activity in Britain and Ireland. How did people come to live in these places and in what ways did they shape the land around them?
• The Romano-British Countryside and its Villas
  Country life lay at the heart of Roman Britain.The life-styles of Britons often hardly changed under Rome, but many homes of Romanized styles were built. We shall examine these villas, their farms and industries, and other aspects of the countryside
• Undergraduate Diploma in British Archaeology
  If you have already begun a study of archaeology or you are an active member of a local society, this course will further your understanding of different chronological periods in British Archaeology and of current archaeological skills and techniques.
• From Stone to Bronze: Britain in the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age
  This course considers 2500 years of dramatic social, technological and environmental change that occurred in the British Isles during the Neolithic and the Early Bronze Age.
