    This course is an introduction to the foundations of ethics in each of the great religions of the world(Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). It is also an introduction to some of the early intellectual thought in each of these religions.
  • God and Evil
    The existence of evil in the world provides the most important grounds to question God’s existence. This course is an introduction to the problem of evil, the varieties of the problem, and to some of the proposed solutions and explanations.
  • Approaches to Buddhism
    The teachings of the Buddha have influenced some of the great historical civilisations of the world, including those of India, Southeast Asia, Tibet, China, Korea and Japan. This course gives a brief history of its evolution and development.
