Led by internationally recognised experts and leaders in evidence-based practice and education, the Programme has received worldwide recognition for the quality of its teaching and graduates.

For health-care professionals and people working with health-care research, including doctors, specialist registrars and trainees, clinical researchers, nurses, health-care managers and policy makers, health information specialists, knowledge managers, medical journalists, and professionals in the pharmaceutical and health-related industries.

With a flexible, modular framework, the part-time MSc has been devised so that it can be undertaken by those in full-time employment, and to accommodate the structure of specialist training in health care. A variety of modules is offered, maximising student choice, and classes make highly effective use of interactive, problem-based learning. Study between modules is supported by a rich and regularly updated virtual learning environment.

The Programme is delivered in conjunction with Oxford's Department of Primary Health Care, the UK's top-ranked department in this field (Research Assessment Exercise 2008), and is supported by the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine.
