The Programmes in Leadership and Public Policy unit (LaPP) ran its first training course in 2001 for senior civil servants from Guangdong Province, China. Since then, nearly 3,000 senior officials from China, Russia, Iran, Nigeria, Greece and the autonomous region of Kurdistan have been trained in Oxford, many of them earning promotion after receiving their training in Oxford.

We are in a unique position to engage with and support key personnel who will be the next generation of leaders throughout the world. Our mission is to encourage delegates to value education and to build their individual and collective capacity.

Programmes offered by LaPP are as follows (please click for more information):

All courses are tailored for each group, depending on requirements. If you are interested in bringing a delegation to Oxford for training, or alternatively would like to find out about holding a course in your home institution, please contact us and we can discuss possibilities.
