Part-time, tutored (mostly online) Masters-level training programme in Ecological Survey Techniques.

The Ecological Survey Techniques programme offers a flexible study approach to those seeking CPD and top-up skills training, using international case studies to illustrate practice, and an appropriate qualification for career development or transition. It is highly suitable for environmental professionals of all types, but will also appeal to conservation and survey volunteers who wish to improve or gain confidence with their survey techniques, and those seeking to move into the Sector, or to develop their role to meet organizational goals. It is aimed primarily at those working in, or anticipating a move to, environment-related professions within the private, public and third sectors, including environmental consultancy, wildlife and countryside management, biodiversity planning, impact assessment, research and evaluation.

This tutored, mostly online, programme can be taken anywhere in the world, and is particularly suited to those who need to combine work with study in a convenient format. The Postgraduate Certificate in Ecological Survey Techniques is a one-year, part-time, online and face-to-face programme leading to an Oxford qualification. The short courses in Field Survey Techniques are each taught online (part-time over five weeks) and can be taken individually for professional development, either with academic credit or for no academic credit, or as modules within the Postgraduate Certificate.
