Conference facilities - Overview
The Department for Continuing Education has two facilities for conference purposes. Rewley House, located in central Oxford, and Ewert House in nearby Summertown.
Rewley House
Rewley House, conveniently situated in central Oxford, is prestigious venue for all your conference, meeting, training or presentation requirements.
There is a wide selection of lecture and seminar rooms, which are extensively equipped and supported by experienced technicians. In addition to these, we have a fully equipped computer teaching room with 16 terminals.
We also offer the following services:
Catering facilities
You can choose to dine in our popular restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, or we can provide refreshments in your seminar room including working lunches, buffets and tea and coffee service.
Accommodation
The Department is able to accommodate up to 70 Guests in Wellington Square, central Oxford. Accommodations range from our standard accommodation to a recently refurbished Victorian building with 9 superior bedrooms.
All our bedrooms are en suite and decorated to a high standard; we offer single, double and twin accommodation

Common Room
Our fully licensed bar and common room is open daily between 12pm and 2pm, and again between 6pm and 10.30pm.
Ewert House
Ewert House is situated in Summertown in Oxford. It offers an extensive choice of lecture and seminar rooms:
- Up to date audio visual equipment
- Hospitality selection served in the room or in our function room
- A newly refurbished computer teaching room
