Research
Alongside our existing reputation for the high quality and range of our teaching, the Department for Continuing Education supports our staff in the pursuit of their academic interests. As a result, the Department is a place of active research and scholarship.
Many research projects are undertaken in collaboration with others, both at the University and with academics and professionals outside the University as well. Research project extend across a large range of subjects.
Our research and scholarship activities reflect the research-led nature of teaching here at the Department, and help us support our academic mission to extend the best possible resources of the University to the wider public.
Research projects undertaken within the Department reflect the subject-specific areas of interest of our academic staff. Please use the menu across the top to select a broad category, and explore the individual projects in each area.
The Department has a close relationship with Kellogg College; our University Lecturers are all Fellows of the College and many are engaged with one or more of the research centres there.
You may also wish to browse the academic and research profiles in the staff section of the site to learn more about individual academics in the department, and their areas of expertise.
