Alumni - Benefits for University alumni
One aim of the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education is to maintain a lifelong relationship with the University's alumni. Continuing Education makes available to those alumni who wish to further their studies, either part-time in Oxford or online at a distance, a wide range of courses, some in subjects which are not available elsewhere in the University.
Oxford was one of the pioneers of university adult education, and is building on that history by adding to the range of opportunities available to alumni. The development of many online courses, professional development short courses and of part-time postgraduate degree programmes, for both personal enrichment and professional development, means that the range of subjects on offer is now wider than ever. The Department's close links with Kellogg College give lifelong learning an even firmer base within the University.

The Department for Continuing Education has series of short 10-week accredited online courses covering such subjects as art history, economics and philosophy. -
