Emotional Intelligence for Leaders

Overview

Emotional intelligence (EI) skills have been shown to enhance relationship management, conflict handling, resilience, engagement, and team performance.

This course is aimed at people already in a Leadership position, and are interested in making more of an impact with their team.

Goleman (2000) was an early introducer of Emotional Intelligence to Leaders, particularly in the business field. Since then our ideas and strategies for using EI have developed: we can confidently say that Leaders using EI skills have more engaged, more resilient, and more flexible teams.

Leaders with higher EI are shown to make better decisions, build more stable, creative teams, and ultimately increase revenue.

EI is particularly relevant in today’s commercial environment where change is inevitable and uncertainty is common. EI skills are shown to facilitate higher resilience levels, both in Leaders and their teams.
