This is a one-day course aimed at anyone who is involved with managing people, and who is interesting in learning more about human behaviour in the workplace.

This course touches on everything except the things that accountants count: everything that makes your business a success, or failure.

This course can be taken separately or as part of a weekly discount fee package.

Programme details

The aim of this course is to explore human behaviour in the workplace; the strategies and theories presented have a far reach into the practice of Leadership, and Organisational Culture.

Illuminating practical examples will demonstrate the cause and effect of poor engagement.

Delegates will unpick some examples of counterproductive behaviours routinely observed in the workplace, and identify why those behaviours might occur.

Insights into the effects of Leadership and Organisational Culture will be presented and insights into Personal Development programs which make a real difference in the workplace will also be discussed.

Dr Jane Pollock

Course Director

Jane is a Chartered Psychologist, an Independent Consultant in Organisational Psychology, and a tutor and lecturer in Psychology and Statistics. She has a history of highly successful courses in both Psychology and Business streams, and takes a practical approach to a subject crucial to the success of people in Organisations.

Although not included in the course fee, accommodation may be available at our on-site Rewley House Residential Centre. All bedrooms are en suite and decorated to a high standard, and come with tea- and coffee-making facilities, free Wi-Fi access and Freeview TV. Guests can take advantage of the excellent dining facilities and common room bar, where they may relax and network with others on the programme.
