Work for the department - Part-time tutor panel
The Department welcomes applications from locally-based tutors to join its panel of hourly-paid, part-time tutors for academic year 2012-2013.
Applicants should be well-qualified academically with experience of university adult education. Tutors are being sought in the following subject areas:
- American History & Politics
- Archaeology
- Architectural History
- Art History
- Languages: Chinese, French, Italian and Japanese
- Medieval History (British and European)
- Music
- Popular Psychology
If you would like to know more about the job, a job description and schedule of fees are available, as well as a letter providing information about the tutor panel.
If you wish to apply, two references must be submitted (on your behalf by two referees) by the closing date. At least one of the referees should have knowledge of your teaching abilities. Please also download an application form and return it with a copy of your CV by 30 September 2011.
