Alumni - Overview
The Department for Continuing Education has been educating talented students for over 125 years. Each year we have over 13,000 enrolments on our courses.
Oxford University Alumni
The Department for Continuing Education offers University alumni an opportunity to further their studies, either part-time in Oxford or online at a distance. We offer a wide range of courses, some in subjects that are available elsewhere in the University and some that are not.
Working in conjuction with the Oxford University Alumni office, the Department extends benefits to those who hold degrees from the University. These are detailed on our benefits page.
Alumni of the Department
The Department is very fortunate to have a very large base of students to return to us year after year to take our courses. We consider our loyal student body to be alumni of the Department, and for them we have established the Friends of Lifelong Learning. The Friends are eligible to receive discounts, and are invited to special events. Please see the Friends' pages for full information.
