Continuing Education Open Day 2016
Join us for a free half-day of learning and exploration. This event, part of Oxford Open Doors, is aimed at adult learners – particularly those who haven't studied with us before, and those who wish to progress their education.
10 September 2016, 10am-2pm, is our first taster day of the year: sample free lectures and workshops, attend information sessions, and get answers to all your questions about part-time study.
Each of the sessions below lasts 45 minutes, with time for questions afterwards. There will be opportunities between sessions to talk to advisors, and to learn about the 1000+ part-time courses for adult learners offered each year at Oxford University.
Registration is recommended - but you're also welcome to show up on the day!
Open day, Open Doors
As part of the Oxford Open Doors festival, join music tutor Roger Thomas to have a go with a range of electronic instruments, and create a crowd-sourced album of electronic music! All are welcome.
Adult learning at Oxford University
Did you know that there are more part-time adult students at Oxford University than full-time undergraduates? Oxford's Department for Continuing Education has been teaching adult learners since 1878. Come learn how studying part-time can fit into your schedule.
