Data science, computing and maths

Part-time study with Oxford University

Open access short courses and training

Data science applies scientific approaches to interpreting information to improve our understanding of the world and make predictions. Computing underpins much of modern life and continues to develop at a rapid pace. Mathematics is the abstract and numerical formalization of logical arguments, with many applications from science and technology through to our everyday lives.

We offer a range of short courses in these subjects, from single day and weekend events to weekly learning programmes – in Oxford and online.

Many of our short courses, including flexible online courses, weekly classes (both in Oxford and online) and some summer schools, can be studied for credit, which means they can count towards a recognised qualification such as our Undergraduate Certificate of Higher Education.

Professional training in technology and AI

We also offer short courses in advanced technologies for hardware designers, engineers, programmers, managers, consultants, entrepreneurs and production and sales staff.

Courses are taught by leading researchers and industry experts and give insights into the latest advances in knowledge, skills and techniques.
