Study whenever it suits you, from anywhere in the world.
Virtual weekly classes
Weekly Oxford Worldwide (WOW) is a new programme, based on our in-Oxford weekly classes. It is delivered online as interactive, fully-tutored courses.
You'll have access to recorded lectures and course materials, and will join ten live, tutor-led sessions. The ‘live-time’ sessions replicate our face-to-face teaching in Oxford, so students take part in real-time discussion and debate with other students and the course tutor.
Class sizes are kept small to maximise interaction between you, your classmates and tutor.
Choose from more than 30 accredited courses in a range of subjects including archaeology, creative writing, economics, history, history of art, languages, psychology, literature and more.
Short online courses
Can't join a live class? Our short online courses take place in a virtual learning environment. Most courses are 10 weeks in duration and they all run asynchronously – they have no live-time meetings - so you do not have to be online at any specific time to take the course. You can access the course whenever it is convenient for you, from anywhere in the world.
Class sizes are kept small to maximise interaction between you and your classmates and tutor in the online forums. Students are able to take part in in-depth discussions and receive personalised tutor guidance and feedback.

Certificate of Higher Education
Credit earned from our short onine courses and WOW classes is transferable towards our award programme, the Certificate of Higher Education - a part-time undergraduate course in which you study a main subject discipline, but also undertake study in other academic subjects.
