DPhil in Sustainable Urban Development
Sustainable economics of brownfield re-development. The cases of Coed Darcy and Swansea University’s Bay Campus, South Wales.
I qualified as an architect from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya in 2004. After working in Barcelona for several years I moved to UK and in 2011 gained a Masters degree in Theory and Practice of Sustainable Design from Cardiff University. I since have been working in several roles in the Welsh School of Architecture. I became part of the Architectural Science Master program teaching team in 2015, after intermittent collaborations. In the last year I gained a Standard Contribution Award in this role. Currently I am the maternity cover for the Sustainable Design Practice module leader. I also supervise dissertations for MA Urban Design. I started my DPhil in October 2016 with an Oxford-Prince’s Foundation scholarship.
