Konrad Kleinfeld
A certified banker, former derivatives trader and investment professional – with more than 18 years of industry experience in banking, capital markets and asset management.
Konrad’s professional experience enables him to offer a unique perspective of both – an investor’s perspective and capital-seeking enterprises / corporates in his lectures and seminars. Konrad currently runs the EMEA distribution for fixed income ETFs at one of the world's premier asset management firms. Prior to that, he spent 5 years at BlackRock serving pension funds and larger German (multinational) corporates. Prior to joining BlackRock, he spent 7 years as Vice President at Nomura International plc in London and Frankfurt. Konrad started his career as corporate bond and credit derivatives trader.
Konrad is also a part-time lecturer for multiple facets of finance and economics (at master and undergraduate level) at two highly-ranked German business schools and was a summer school lecturer for finance and artificial intelligence (AI) at King’s College London, University of London (2016-2018).
Konrad earned a BA in Banking, an advanced diploma in international development from the University of Cambridge and an Executive MBA from Cass Business School, City, University of London. He also holds numerous finance certifications and was quoted and interviewed by numerous German TV and print formats including ARD, n-tv, FAZ, DAF, Handelsblatt.
