John Deane-O'Keeffe
John Deane-O’Keeffe is a Forensic Criminologist and Lecturer in Criminal Law. He is Dean of a Faculty of Criminology in Dublin, a Departmental Tutor at Oxford Lifelong Learning and a member of the Senior Common Room at Regent's Park College, Oxford.
John sat as a Magistrate in Newcastle, England, and is also a Licensed Minister and Theologian. He completed his undergraduate studies in Theology, Law and History at University College Dublin, UWE Bristol and Oxford and took post-graduate degrees in Law, Theology and Forensic Criminology at London, Trinity College Dublin and Cambridge.
He is also a radio broadcaster and journalist where he opines on all matters criminological, forensic and legal. John is an author and his recently published book, Christ Alive: Reflections from the Shadows of Life into the Light of God has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishing. His next theological book, Finding Jesus in Joyce: From Deadalus to The Dead, is due for publication towards the end of 2025.
