Vikki Burns-Price
Victoria Burns-Price has a PhD from the University of Reading in Medieval History. Her research interests lie in medieval magic, its practitioners, and the influence of formal theology on societal attitudes toward it.

The 12th century was a time of significant change in Western Europe, with new developments in virtually all aspects of medieval life. This course will explore how the phenomenon of the 12th century renaissance impacted the society of Medieval Oxford.
"Magic" was a wide-ranging concept that affected many aspects of medieval society. This course will consider the actual and perceived practices of magic in the medieval period and their consequences.
