Courses
Since the early 18th century a number of eminent Prime Ministers have governed Britain in both times of war and peace. This course examines the public and private lives of ten well-known leaders in order to appreciate their contribution to Britain's past.
From political agitation and religious discord to single-issue demands, British society has often been confronted by dissenting voices. Starting in 1815 we will examine these protests, seeking to understand the nature of challenges to the status quo.
